Levus T. Ecological-biological features of the formation of rock gardens in the conditions of the Western Forest-steppe.

The object of the study is the vegetation of rock gardens in the conditions of the Western Forest-steppe. Meta-identification of ecological and biological features of the formation of rock gardens, the development of their vegetation, the improvement of compositional solutions and agrotechnics of care. Methods of research - general scientific; cartographic floristic; phenological; soil science; ecological-phytocenotic; mathematical and statistical. Scientific novelty - complex researches of the state of rock gardens in the Western Forest-Steppe have been carried out (75% of the gardens are located in limited-use plantations; 89% of rocky gardens are located on an artificial relief) and the assortment of vegetation cover (253 taxa) is established. Practical significance - Classification of rock gardens, proposed models of different types and technologies of phytocoenal formation can be used in garden and park construction in Ukraine.
