Essay

The calculations of the main ions, nutrients removal were carried out for long-term period of the Desna River. It was shown (after the processing of primary materials) that the main ecological and hydrochemical problems of the Desna River are associated with water pollution by nutrients, organic substances and toxic elements. On the basis of experimental research quantitative characteristics of nitrogen and phosphorus distribution coefficients in the "ground-water" system for chernozem were obtained. Empirical, balance and mathematical methods for the modeling of the nutrients removal from the catchment area were developed.
