Essay

Heat and mass transfer processes and parameters of working bodies of the Hyundai engine H25 / 33 engine recycling system. Selection and substantiation of the parameters of the diesel-electric plant with the system of utilization of heat from the worked gases and the cooling system diesel using the Rankin cycle.The dissertation is based on the fundamental principles of thermodynamics and the theory of internal combustion engines. The study of energy conversion processes into work, transfer of energy from one working body to another, is performed on the basis of thermodynamic methods. Estimates of determination of parameters of the working body of the utilization complex were obtained by approximating experimental data and data from literary sources using the least squares methods and experiment planning. Using the developed mathematical model of the heat energy object on the basis of the finite element method, the calculation of the average temperatures in the system of bodies and flows of heat-transfer media, which are in the mutual heat exchange, is performed. NPV (Net Present Value) method was used for comparative estimation of efficiency of investment projects of diesel power stations with utilization complex of secondary heat of an engine. The constructive solutions of the utilization complex are proposed and substantiated, which allows, with minimal losses, to carry out the modernization of existing diesel power plants in order to obtain an additional 10% of the capacity and up to 2300 kg per day of water vapor condensate. For the first time, the scheme of the integrated system of secondary heat utilization of the diesel-electric station with the additional electricity generation, heat for heating of heavy fuel, condensation of technical water from the exhaust gases of the engine was proposed. A new schematic solution of a combined two-stage fuel heater heating system of the cogeneration unit with partial use of the heat of the cooling system or the heat of the exhaust gases for steam generation in the waste heat boiler with subsequent use for heating this fuel is proposed. The results of the dissertation work are recommended for implementation at the diesel power plant in Al-Jadriya in Iraq, and also used in the educational process and scientific research at the Department of Internal Combustion Engines NTU "KhPI".
