The object of the study is the distal radius fracture; the goal is improving the results of the treatment of patients with distal radius fractures by optimizing of reductions technique with the using of modern immobilization methods, identifying risk groups for the development of neurodystrophic syndrome and developing a differentiated approach to medicamentous therapy; methods - clinical, questionnaires, radiological, thermometric, ultrasound, statistical; novelty and results - new information about morbidity structure of patients with distal radius fractures, taking age, sex and social status was systematized; the reasons for unsatisfactory results and long-term treatment was highlighted; reliable diagnostic criterion of probability of development of neurodystrophic syndrome - thermal asymmetry of fingers was developed; for the first time, a differentiated volume of medicamentous treatment in each risk group based on the definition of the risk of posttraumatic neurodystrophic syndrome development taking into the temperature gradient was developed; the advantages of the proposed low-traumatic and traction methods of reduction with the using of rational casting was proved, the effectiveness of the early kinesitherapy and individual medicamentous therapy was determined by the method of predicting the probability of development of posttraumatic neurodystrophic syndrome; implemented - in the clinical practice of the regional clinical hospital named after Novak, Uzhhorod, interdistrict hospital of Uzhhorod, Kyiv City Clinical Hospital № 1, Regional Hospital of Intensive Care of Mariupol, Kyiv Clinical Hospital on the railway transport, the Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the Donetsk National Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Lyman, Regional Clinical Hospital, Lyman, as well as in the pedagogical process of the Department of Surgical Diseases № 1, Kyiv Medical University, Department of Surgery, Anesthesiology and Intensive Care of the Institute of Postgraduate Education of the National Medical University named after Bogomolets, Kyiv, Department of Traumatology, Orthopedics and Military Field Surgery, Donetsk National Medical University, Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Lyman; the field of use - the medical-diagnostic process of the clinic, orthopedical departments, scientific and pedagogical processes of the departments of traumatology and orthopedics of medical educational institutions.
