Essay

The thesis is a comprehensive study of professional public associations of Ukrainian emigrants in Czechoslovakia (1923-1939). An attempt was made to determine the total number of Ukrainian emigrant organizations in the Czechoslovak Republic, especially in Prague. On the basis of the study of the situation of Ukrainian workers and peasants in the 1920-30s of the twentieth century. the regularity of their creation by professional non-governmental organizations has been proved. In the systematic form, based on a wide source base, the activities of professional public associations of organizations of the Ukrainian scientific and technical intelligentsia, its influence on the development of Ukrainian interwar emigration in the Czechoslovak Republic and the Czech-Ukrainian international relations have been analyzed. Unpublished archive materials, including those from the National Archives of the Czech Republic, were introduced into the scientific circulation.
