Essay

The paper considers the ways of reducing the energy loading of friction pairs of disk-block brakes for drives of lifting-and-shifting machines. The basic design parameters of the brake disk with the use of the geometric programming method and the resource of friction overlays are grounded on the basis of the method of estimating the friction power of the braking units. The means of reducing the energy loading of the friction pairs due to the use of advanced brake discs intensifying conductive and evaporationcondensation cooling of their matte and polished surfaces are implemented. The effective reduction of the energy loading of friction pairs of the brake significantly increased its operating parameters. The author suggests the series of equivalence between different dynamic models of disk brakes and a modular brake of a mine winder according to the characteristic criterion of power with the improved wear and friction properties of their working surfaces.
