The aim is theoretical generalization and substantiation of modern methods of organization of the regional innovation process and the development of scientific and methodological approaches to the formation of organizational and economic support for the development of innovation activities in the region. The object of the research is the process of development of innovation activity at the regional level. The subject of research - theoretical and methodological approaches and scientific and practical recommendations for the formation of organizational and economic support for the development of regional innovation processes. Methods of research: comparison and analysis; logical generalization; classifications; analogy, content analysis, the method of scientific abstraction; morphological analysis; economic-statistical analysis and graphic method. Improved structuring of organizational support of cluster-network interaction of business entities as part of the process of innovation activity of the region in terms of ensuring the complexity and proportionality of the development of a regional scientific and production complex. The methodical approach to the selection of instruments of regulatory influence on the implementation of innovative environmental projects at the regional level is proposed. A methodical approach has been introduced regarding the choice of the form of organization of cooperation between economic entities during the implementation of regional innovation projects and the ordering of the participants.
