Essay

The research gives an opportunity to recreate thorough and unbiased investigation of the social, political and ethnic history of local Armenians during the period of 1778-1920. The scientific actuality of the research is connected with the lack in the native and foreign historiography of Armenians living in the northern coast area of Black Sea. The social and political activity of Armenians should be studied thoroughly and complexly in order to enable objective and comprehensive reproduction of local Armenians' history during 1778-1920. This research bears huge importance under the conditions of modern socio-political relations development of our poly-ethnic country. Thorough and objective perception of ethnic communities and their socio-cultural peculiarities is the main prerequisite of successful ethno-national policy.
