Pryshchepa O. Controlled queues with the limited number of retrials

The thesis deals with a perspective direction of the theory of stochastic systems which is related with the research and development of methods to find the stationary probabilities for the systems with the limited number of repeated attempts and to solve the problem of optimal control over the rate of the input flow. We have considered the systems with the limited number of retrials where the rate of the input flow depends on a number of sources of repeated calls. We have explored the conditions of the existence of stationary regime and have developed calculation algorithms for the stationary probabilities. The difficulty in choosing a research method essentially depends on a number of servers, repeated attempts and control strategy.
