Koshkina O. Factors, parameters and current tendencies of the maximum runoff of spring flood in the Desna River basin.

The thesis is devoted to the study of spatial and temporal tendencies of main hydrometeorological characteristics of spring flood and to the influence of climatic factors on spring flood formation in the Desna River Basin. The main methods and results of spring flood maximum runoff researches are considered, the analysis of previous researches of the spatio-temporal tendencies of hydrometeorological characteristics of spring flood is carried out, the methodological principles and research algorithm are substantiated. The hydro-genetic and statistical methods (mass curve, residual mass curve, combined chronological graphs, statistical significance of the linear trends method) were used for estimation of the homogeneity and stationarity of the series of observations.
