Voloshyn V. Formation and efficient use of the meadow grass canopies on grey forest soil of the Right-bank Forest-steppe

The object of the study is the process of formation of meadow grasses, their feed productivity, botanical composition, crop structure depending on fertilization and use regimes. The purpose of the research was establishing regularities of formation and use of meadow phytocenosis depending on the type of grass stands, fertilizers and modes of use on gray forest soil of the Right-bank Forest-steppe zone. The research methods are field, laboratory, visual, measuring-weight, chemical, mathematical-statistical, computational and comparative. For the first time, the high efficiency of ancient sowed grass herbages productivity recovery was established by overseeding of sod by seeds of perennial cereal and legumes grasses. Recommendations for the production of improvement of low-yielding old-age meadows and the formation of highly productive grasses of long-term use on the gray forest soil of the Right-bank Forest-Steppe, which without fertilizing, obtaining 4-6 tons of feed units of high quality with 1 hectare, saving 100-200 kg / ha of mineral nitrogen fertilizers and preserving soil fertility. The scientific developments in 2016-2017 were introduced at the Subsidiary Farm of the Holy Assumption Kiev-Pechersk Lavra of the Boryspil district and STOV "Luka" Taraschansky district of the Kyiv region on the total area of 120 hectares. The field of using is agricultural production.
