Essay

New results of paleomagnetic study of loess-soil sediments of sequences at Boyanychi and Korshiv (Volhynian Upland), Roxolany (Black Sea Lowland) and Vyazivok (Dnieper Lowland) are presented in the thesis. According to the magnetic parameters which dependent on concentration, composition, structure, domain state and other characteristics of the magnetic minerals, the zoning into "northern" and "southern" provinces of the subaerial formation of Ukraine is proposed. Due to magnetostratigraphic investigations it has been determined that sediments of Volhynian Upland were formed during Brunhes chron of normal polarity, but in Roxolany and Vyazivok sections the Matuyama-Brunhes boundary was detected . The results oh the thesis have been implemented in the educational process, they also may be used in correction of stratigraphic schemes and paleogeographic constractions.
