Riznychuk N. Population and ecological peculiarities of sorts of Polygonatum Mill genus in the Carpathian piedmont.

The structural and functional peculiarities of natural cenopopulation of sorts of Polygonatum Mill. genus have been analyzed in the thesis in the context of edaphic and climate parameters of biotopes of the Carpathian piedmont. The complete ontogenesis and morphological peculiarities of individuals of cenopopulation types of Polygonatum Mill. genus at different stages of their individual development have been described. The age structure, density, changeability of morphological parameters and their correlation, peculiarities of vital strategy and realization of vital potential in different biotope conditions have been described. The character of cross-correlation dependences between investigational edaphic and climate indexes and key structural and functional parameters of populations have been cleared up. The diagnostic value of structural and functional characteristics is analysed for estimation of ecological state of cenopopulation and indications of conditions of environment.
