Essay

The aim of the research is study of the probabilistic safety analysis (PSA) of nuclear power facilities. The subject - methods for estimating uncertainties and probabilistic models of process systems and accident sequences of nuclear power facilities. The objective - to increase the adequacy of PSA for nuclear power facilities at the expense of the developed methods for estimating uncertainties of computer probabilistic models of process systems and accident sequences of these facilities. The relevant scientific and practical issue of improving the methods and features of mathematical and computer modelling, estimation of uncertainties for increasing the adequacy of PSA for nuclear power facilities has been solved. The results have been implemented and are used at nuclear power facilities.
