Essay

The thesis is devoted to the experimental and theoretical study of the effect of impurities of nanoparticles on: the thermophysical properties of multicomponent refrigerants based on propylene glycol / water / viscosity regulating substances (BPB) / Al2O3 nanoparticles, the intensity of heat transfer processes in forced convection during the laminar flow of coolant in a horizontal pipe. The paper presents experimental data on the influence of impurities of Al2O3 nanoparticles on the density, heat capacity, and dynamic viscosity of multicomponent refrigerants. To describe and predict the thermophysical properties of multicomponent refrigerants, new methods have been proposed for the first time, requiring for their application a minimum volume of experimental information. It is shown that the impurities of Al2O3 nanoparticles in multicomponent refrigerants contribute to an increase in viscosity and a slight decrease in the heat capacity.
