Object of research: victims with bilateral fractures of the thigh in the polytrauma, in which developed traumatic illness. The purpose of the study is to reduce the mortality rate and increase the survival rate of the victims by creating a scientifically substantiated scheme for the early treatment of bilateral hip fractures in patients with polysystem and multiorgan lesions. Methods: Clinical, Radiation Diagnostics, Clinical Effective Risk Management, Medical Nonparametric Statistics. Novelty and results – for the first time complexly studied clinical and epidemiological and clinical and nosological characteristics of traumatic illness in patients with bilateral bone fractures during polytrauma. For the first time, based on a risk-oriented approach, prediction of the occurrence of fatal outcome in affected bilateral fractures of the thigh during polytrauma has been determined. For the first time, a protocol for the adoption of a tactical decision at the early hospital stage of treatment of patients with bilateral hypertrophic fractures was developed. For the first time, a unified protocol for making medical and technological decisions regarding surgical treatment in patients with bilateral fractures of the thigh under polytrauma has been developed and formulated, and its effectiveness has been scientifically evaluated. The results of theoretical and clinical researches were used in the medical treatment at the State institution "Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Center of Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine", the Departments of Traumatology of the Chernivtsi Regional Hospital and of the L’viv City Clinical Hospital # 8, the Department of Polytrauma of the Kyiv City Clinical Hospital Emergency Medical Aid, Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics of Vinnitsa Regional Hospital named after M. I. Pirogov. The application area is the medical and diagnostic process of specialized traumatological departments, emergency medical centers, scientific and pedagogical processes of the departments of traumatology and orthopedics, military field surgery, emergency medical aid of medical educational institutions.
