Essay

The thesis is devoted to theoretical and experimental research of the technological process of transporting bulk materials by screw working bodies with a sectional elastic surface in order to improve the operational parameters of screw conveyors. Based on the developed analytical dependencies, rational parameters of the interaction of the auger working body consisting of elastic sections with the half-sphere-cone grain material are substantiated. The efforts of deforming the screw blade during its interaction with the ellipsoid grain are determined; the maximum stresses that occur in the contact area of the grain with the inner surface of the casing are determined from the size of the deflection and the parameters of the elastic blade. The influence of the structural and kinematic parameters of the elastic screw on the nature of the bulk material movement in the zone between adjacent sections is established. The regularities of the influence of the screw parameters with the elastic surface on the parameters of conveyor operation are determined, as well as the degree of damage to the grain material. A new design of a screw working body with a sectional elastic surface was developed and its rational structural and technological parameters were substantiated. The method and device for determining the influence of the elastic plate parameters on the value of its deformation, the size of the console protrusion and the load force are proposed. The laboratory installation for determining the operational parameters of the conveyor is designed and manufactured.
