Essay

The thesis presents new solution of the scientific problem of increasing torque-flow pump energy efficiency by improving it's impeller, which allows to minimize the pump life cycle cost as a result of reduction the electric energy costs with reaching minimum investment costs. The design of the working body of a free-pump pump with profiled blades was developed. Application of real liquid flow physical model in torque-flow pump allowed developing the energy distribution mathematical model in its flowing part. As a result, it is established that the theoretical efficiency of the ideal vortex operating process without taking into account hydraulic losses is ?op = 0.67. Numerical investigation made it possible to estimate the flow structure in the torque-flow pump flowing part. Using the proposed impeller allowed minimizing losses at the entrance and in impeller intervane channels. The proposed impeller design increasing of the existing torque-flow pumps energy efficiency by 4-5%. The methodical recommendations of designing impeller with profiled blades have been developed.
