The thesis is devoted to theoretical positions and development of methodical and practical recommendations for estimation of efficiency of the region potential use. The theoretical base of concept forming «efficiency of the region potential use» has been presented and its essence has been determined. The necessity of complex estimation of region potential and efficiency of its use had been grounded. The methodical approach to the quantitative estimation of efficiency of the region potential use which is based on the offered system of indices of the region capacities potential and general index of efficiency of the region potential use has been improved. The structure of the combined region potential as sinergistical combination of industrial, financial, skilled, innovative, scientific, consumer, labour, investment and natural resource potentials had been offered. The methodical approach to the complex estimation of the region potential has been improved. The groups of regions taking into account the level of the region potential and efficiency of its use are formed. The methodical approach to the establishment of relationships and determination of dominant factors of influence on efficiency of the regions potential use has been improved. The scientific methodical approach to modelling of efficiency of the region potential use has been developed. The conceptual model which is based on the offered system of indices and methodology of unclear modelling is fixed in the basis of scientific methodical approach. Analytical basis of decisions making which are directed on the increase of level efficiency of the Ukraine regions potential use has been offered.
