The thesis is devoted to the development of methods and models for increasing the efficiency of emitting components on the basis of slot transmission lines for using in the information and communication systems. In this research work the principles of construction of radiating components on the basis of slot transmission lines are investigated and developed. The shape and effective geometrical dimensions of the emitter excited by the traveling wave field in the slot transmission line are obtained, to provide transverse radiation. The mathematical model of the slot radiating process in the finite size screen was contributed using the method of induced electromotive forces for finding the mutual impedances of the dipoles of two orthogonal arrays in the presence of a dielectric. The method of determining the parameters of the slot transmission line, which allows to obtain more accurate values of the slow factor and wave attenuation coefficient in the slot transmission line, is proposed. The layout of the antenna array of rhombic slot emitters with in-phase power supply of separate elements have been developed and made. It made it possible to increase the efficiency of devices of this class with improved mass-dimensional indices. Obtained the level of the crosspolarized signal of the slot emitters of the rhombic form in the direction of the normal up to 18 dB lower of the maximum value.
