The оbject of research: hybrid filter-compensating converters on the basis of regulating balancing filter devices (RBFD) and "distributive" static synchronous (STATCOM) or multifunctional reactive power compensators (MRPC). The purpose of research: development of principles for the construction of power circuits, the creation of simulation models and the study the effectiveness of using in three-phase four-wire systems of hybrid filter-compensating converters based on regulating balancing filter devices (RBFD) and "distributive" static synchronous (STATCOM) or multifunctional reactive power compensators (MRPC). Methods of research: the solution of the problems posed in the thesis work is based on the fundamental principles of theoretical electrical engineering, mathematics and modeling. Confirmation of the reliability of the results of theoretical studies provided by computer simulation of electromagnetic processes and experimental tests. Theoretical and practical results and innovations: the principles of constructing hybrid filter-compensating converters were developed for the first time, which consist in combining the functionality of the RBFD and “distribution” D-STATCOM or multifunctional reactive power compensators; the first time, the use of hybrid filter-compensating converters for the creation of local power supply systems is scientifically substantiated, which can significantly improve the quality of electrical energy and the reliability of power supply to responsible consumers. A subject degree of introduction: are used in the educational process of the department of industrial electronics NTUU "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" and recommended for the development of the design documentation and the subsequent manufacture of their prototypes and testing at the Research Institute of Automation and Energy “Energia” (Kyiv), LLC “Electrosfera” (Kyiv) and LLC “United Medical Service” (Kyiv). Effectiveness of implantation: improve the quality of electricity and ensure electromagnetic compatibility in four-wire systems. Sphere of use: low voltage distribution networks.
