In the thesis the results of the solution of an important scientific task are obtained, consisting in the development and deepening of existing theoretical provisions and the development of scientific and practical recommendations on the organization of management of the development of the hotel industry in the regional system. The composition of the factors influencing the features of the functioning of the hotel economy has been formed, methodical approaches to the criteria for evaluating the activity of hotels and similar accommodation facilities have been developed, taking into account the returns of 1 sq. m. of the area of the i-category rooms within the region, the organizational structure of management of hotels and similar accommodation facilities in the region has been improved, providing for the creation of regional outsourcing campaigns within the Association of Hotel Associations, Staffing hotel in the region.Methodical support for the selection of promising actions of organizing hotels and similar accommodation facilities in the region has been developed, it is based on an integrated approach that allows improving the results of operations. A methodical approach to the selection and accounting of hotel personnel and similar accommodation facilities has been developed. The forecasting of the results of the operation of hotels and similar accommodation facilities is carried out, taking into account the composition of the factors of influence is formed and allows to determine the features of the functioning of the hotel industry in the region (by the example of the Kharkov region).
