Liashenko P. Management of Economic Development of The Region on the Basis of Counteractions to the Threats of its Social Security

The security and social aspects of economic development of the region are re-searched. The essence of economic development of the region is studied and periodization of economic development of Ukrainian regions is carried out. The bipolarity of management of economic development of the region is substantiated. The peculiarities of management of economic development of Ukrainian regions are analyzed. An in-depth understanding of the concept of "social security" based on the results of semantic analysis, the functional capacity of which is improved through the use of Google Trends and Ahrefs search tools, is carried out. The interpretation of social security of the region as a form of a metastable state of its socioeconomic system is proposed. The cause-effect relationships between the role and place of social security of the region in managing its economic development are revealed. The endogenous and exogenous administrative areas of counteraction to threats to the social security of the region are singled out. A decomposition of methods for managing economic development of the region on the principles of counteracting threats to its social security is de-veloped.
