The object of the research – the victims who received a combined skeletal injury within the conditions of agro-industrial region; the purpose is reducing mortality and improving the efficiency of emergency medical aid to the victims with a combined skeletal injury at prehospital and early hospital stages within the conditions of agro-industrial region; methods – biblio-semantic, clinical and epidemiological, clinical, statistical; novelty and results – for the first time, the clinical and epidemiological, and the clinical and nosological characteristics of the victims with a combined skeletal trauma, who were injured in the agro-industrial region, were studied and summarized; for the first time, the effects of injuries of the musculoskeletal system and its individual components on the outcome of the traumatic process in victims with a combined skeletal injury in rural conditions were identified and systematized; for the first time, using the risk-based approach, the effectiveness and adequacy of treatment and diagnostic activities for victims with a combined skeletal trauma at the prehospital and early hospital stages were analyzed; a new, scientifically based scheme for making clinical and organizational decisions in the provision of medical care to victims with combined skeletal injuries at the prehospital and early hospital stages in the agro-industrial region was developed and tested; implemented in the practical work of the Sumy Regional Clinical Hospital, the Sumy Regional Centre for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine, the central regional hospitals of Bilopillia, Lypova Dolyna, Lebedyn of the Sumy region, the Stryi city hospital of the Lviv region and in the educational process of the Medical Institute of Sumy State University; the application area is the medical and diagnostic process of specialized traumatology departments, centres for emergency medical care and disaster medicine, scientific and pedagogical processes of the departments of traumatology and orthopedics, military field surgery, emergency medical care of medical institutions.
