Restructuring of contractile myocardium in chronic ischemic heart disease was studied on cardiobiocytes obtained from the basin of the anterior interventricular branch of the left coronary artery with angiographically established stenosis of the lumen by 80-90% and the near of the pool of its blood supply. Semi-fine sections, transmissive electron microscopy, electron-histochemical tests for succinate dehydrogenase, Ca2+, and morphometry were used. Morphofunctional features of adaptive and pathological reorganization of myocardium working cells of ischemic and extraisymmetric zones of the left ventricle, as well as the mechanisms of restructuring of ventricular cardiomyocytes in different areas of the patient for chronic ischemic heart disease are analyzed and typical structural variants of irreversible damage to CMC.
