In the thesis, the actual scientific and applied problem of the justification of methods of designing and manufacturing the working tools with curvilinear cut-ting edges for energy-saving knife cutting of small volume printing products, the formation of mathematical models for establishing rational geometrical parame-ters of material-saving packages made from various packaging materials has been solved. The mathematical models have been formed, on the basis of which the methods of design of friable product packages made of cardboard, paper, poly-mer film with the use of vacuuming technology have been developed, which provides the efficient saving of packaging materials.
