Yuzyk D. Characteristics of ecology of hollow-nesting passerine birds in transformed areas of the north-eastern part of Ukraine

The purpose of research is to reveal ecological characteristics of hole-nesting Passeriformes in territories with different levels of transformation in the north-eastern part of Ukraine to develop recommendations for their population conservation. The object of research is ecology of hole-nesting Passeriformes in the territories with different levels of transformation. The subject of research is the species composition and interspecific relations, spread, spatial distribution, reproductive indices, macro- and microelements elements in eggs, diet, and importance of hollow-nesting Passeriformes in artificial nests in the distribution and development of invertebrates. The thesis for the first time analyses the impact of the main environmental factors on the reproductive indices of model hole-nesting Passeriformes in artificial nests in the territories of the north-eastern part of Ukraine. Practical recommendations for the biodiversity conservation in the transformed territories have been developed.
