The dissertation is devoted to anatomical-morphological research of Pinus sylvestris L., Pinus mugo Turra, Pinus sibirica Du Tour, Pinus koraiensis Siebold & Zucc., which were introduced in the NBG and on the Kiev region. The amplitude of variability for each of 16 anatomic-morphological characteristics of needles for double- needles species plants and 14 for five- needles species plants, including for generative and juvenile plants of four species of the genus Pinus, were studied. The changes in the anatomical and morphological structure of the needles of species under biotic influences are determined, correlation relations between indicators for different age groups and species are found, it is possible to understand the mechanisms of reactions and adaptive strategies of plants of the genus in biotic factors.
