Essay

The object of the research is the development of the Russian Empire industry of the late XIX - early XX centuries. Subject of research - syndicates in the Russian Empire industry of the late XIX - early XX centuries. as the main form of monopoly unions. Under the syndicate, we understand the agreement of the enterprises of one branch, whose members sell their products through a joint sales office or similar body, thus losing commercial independence. The purpose of such an agreement is to dominate the market in order to raise prices and obtain high (monopoly) profits.
