Essay

The thesis is devoted to the development of theoretical and technological foundations for the manufacture of low temperature molds for casting a general machine - building application from aluminum alloys to improve the quality of castings and reduce their prime cost by reducing the complexity of molding operations, knocking out forms and rods, improving environmental working conditions in the workplace and the environment. The influence of water and clay content, freezing temperature, and also the way of preparation of clay and water on the properties of low-temperature forms are analyzed. The kinetics of the destruction of low-temperature forms in air under continuous dynamic influence on them is revealed. The composition of the low-temperature mixture was optimized. The mathematical model is developed and a simplex-monograms is constructed, the use of which, as a first approximation, makes it possible to calculate not only the sizes and number of feeders, but also the time of pouring a low-temperature shape with an aluminum-based alloy. The interaction of the low-temperature form with the melt of an aluminum alloy is investigated, the influence of a low-temperature shape on the quality of the surface, the dimensional accuracy, the microstructure of castings from aluminum alloys is determined. Key words: clay, sand, water, ice, quartz form, properties, gas permeability, strength, microstructure.
