Podolkhova M. Dendrological parks of Ukrainian Polissya (complex assessment, territorial organization, landscape and compositional analysis)

The dissertation is devoted to the complex evaluation of the Ukrainian Polissya's dendrological parks, their territorial organization analysis, landscape and compositional structures. Information concerning the «dendrological park» concept is systematized according to the scientific literary sources; legislative, normative-legal and methodological bases were analyzed regarding their function, a retrospective analysis of the formation of the Ukrainian Polissya's dendrological parks network was conducted. The quantitative and qualitative compositions of the species and intrinsic diversity of their collections were determined and agreed with the «The plant list» basis, its complex structural floristic analysis was carried out. The coefficients of similarity and filling are founded, index of tree plants occurrence in the research dendrological parks are established. A complex evaluation of their current state and the dendrological value categories were defined. The research of the territorial organization of the Ukrainian Polissya's dendrological parks has been substantiated and tested, the scientific and practical recommendations concerning the research parks functional zoning have been proposed. The complex description of the landscape-compositional structure of the Ukrainian Polissya's dendrological parks is analyzed and formed according to the landscape's types representativeness, compositional-spatial estimation and the peculiarities of usage of the composition harmonization means. Scientific and practical recommendations are founded regarding melioration of the territorial organization of the research parks network, their dendrological value rise and landscape-compositional characteristics of the dendrological parks are formed.
