The thesis has solved an actual scientific and technical problem – improvement of cavitation and erosion characteristics of inducer centrifugal stage using an inducer bush. The study results of operation of the inducer centrifugal stage assembled with inducer bush are presented, as well as the influence of its geometric parameters on the cavitation erosion characteristics of the centrifugal stage being studied is determined. The physical model of liquid flowing through channels of the inducer centrifugal stage assembled with inducer bush during operation at low flow rate is proposed. The main point of the thesis is to obtain experimentally optimal geometric parameters of the inducer bushes for improvement of the cavitation and erosion characteristics of the inducer centrifugal stage and to develop recommendations for the design of inducer bushes assembled with inducer centrifugal stage.
