Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the problem of increasing the dynamic quality of the high-speed five-axis machining centers when cutting difficult-to-cut materials. To solve this problem, an analysis of patent, scientific and technical sources was carried out with the aim of identifying ways to improve the dynamic quality of five-axis machining centers. Performed research and analysis of the machining centers basic unit's dynamic characteristics by the finite element method. A significant effect on the value of the spindle front-end vibration amplitude of the support shoes quantity and their location was determined. It is observed that displacement of running units along work area increases the spindle front-end vibration amplitude up to 300%.
