The work is devoted to the solution of the actual scientific and technical problems to improv fire safety of materials based on epoxy-amine composites by means of copper(II) hexafluoridosilicate modifying. The influence of the chemical interaction between the non-combustible inorganic salt – copper(II) hexafluoridosilicate – and the combustible amine hardener of epoxy resins – polyethylenepolyamine – onto the difficulty of ignition and their inflammability reducing was studied in the process of the epoxy-amine composites structuring. A comprehensive assessment of the fire hazard parameters of epoxy-amine composites containing the different quantities of flame retardant has been carried out.
