Essay

The thesis is devoted to the finding and research of the SSN, their completeness for natural series 232Th, 235,238U taking into account branchings due to the chains of alpha and beta decays. The method of linearization of solutions of differential equations Bateman is proposed, the character of the time evolution of the activities of their decay products is established. To refine the values of the nuclear-physical constants used in the calculations, the computer code Decay Calculations is created. The characteristics of the radiation stand for finding the experimentally nuclide spectra of the investigated samples are given: efficiency of protection, the stability of low background conditions for long-term measurements It is shown that the comparison of experimental spectra and SSN is important for the tasks of nuclear dating, establishing the closure of the nuclide system and the reliability of finding the time of events. The results of establishing SSN in samples of natural and artificial origin, a database of nuclear dating of rock, soil and artifacts of Transcarpathia are presented. Using the example of isotopes of the 238U series, new possibilities of MSSN are shown, taking into account the statistical component of such studies, to improve the accuracy and reliability of nuclear dating. The computer code Nuclear Dating, which is used in the tasks of nuclear dating, has been created.
