Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the problem of psychocorrection of behavioral disorders of children of the senior preschool age by means of art therapy. The basic theoretical approaches to the understanding of behavioral disorders are defined: clinical, social-pedagogical and psychological-pedagogical. It is found out that in the framework of the research of preschool children with intellectual disabilities it is expedient to use the psychological and pedagogical approach. Within this approach, the main components of behavioral disorders of preschool children with a violation of intellectual development, the reasons for their formation and the psychological portrait of children with the main manifestations of behavioral disorders are described. The main criteria for the formation of aggressive are identified (presence of violations of self-control, relationship with adults and peers, non-discipline, external control locus, predominance of negative emotional state and negative personality traits) and hyperactive (high level of impulsivity and general motor activity, low mental health and regulatory impairment their own behavior, relationships with others and the predominance of negative emotional background) behavior as components of behavioral of pre-school children with intellectual disabilities. According to the structural components of behavioral disorders and features of mental development of pre-school children with a violation of intellectual development, it is analyzed which types and functions of art therapy are suitable for psycho-correction of behavioral disorders of children of this category. The model and program of psycho-correction of behavioral disorders of pre-school children with intellectual disabilities, which integrates various types of art therapy and forms of work, is developed. It is proved that art therapy is a universal means of psycho-correction of behavioral disorders of children with intellectual disabilities in preschool age.
