The Roman policy against Parthia is researched using the methods of political imagology. The image of Roman politics against Parthia in the official propaganda of the Early Empire is analyzed. The role of coinage in political propaganda is highlighted. The mission of Germanicus Caesar to East is described in the context of the missions of Marcus Agrippa and Gaius Caesar Vipsanianus. The place that the governors of the provinces took in the implementation of Roman foreign policy related to Parthia is outlined. Roman military presence in the eastern provinces of the Empire in the Age of the Principate is characterized. The dux ripae office in Dura Europos is analyzed in the context of Severan Age Roman foreign policy against Parthia. The impact of Roman-Parthian conflict on the territories of Armenia, Osroene, Adiabene, Gorduene and Sophene in the first centuries of the Common Era is studied. The level of Roman and Parthian influence on the development of the cities Palmyra, Dura Europos, Seleucia on the Tigris and Hatra is examined.
