Bukolova V. Theoretical and instrumental outlines of evaluating socio-economic security of a region

The aim is the substantiation of theoretical and methodological provisions on the development of a model of assessing the socio-economic security of the region as an integrated tool that allows a consistent formal description of the evaluation process. The object is the economic and social security of the region. To achieve these objectives the following methods were used: monographic; structural-functional analysis; causal approach; comparison; systemic and comparative analysis; simulation based on the theory of fuzzy sets; verification method; program-target approach; graphic method; scenario analysis. Novelty and the main results of the research: model of evaluating socio-economical security of the region was made by using tools of fuzzy logic; content of notion “region” and “socio-economical security of a region” was clarified; approach of choosing primary indicators for the model of evaluating socio-economical security of the region was made; evaluating of socio-economical security of Poltava region was made. directions of usage evaluations of socio-economical security of the region were analyzed; methodical outlines of making program of strengthening socio-economical security of the region were developed.
