Nashchochyn O. Polish-French relations in the context of the European integration policy of Poland (1993-2004).

On the basis of archival and published sources, the problem of Polish-French relations in the context of the European integration policy of Poland is highlighted. The preconditions have been established that led to the beginning of transformation processes and the reorientation of foreign policy. The legal framework was studied, it is indicated on the main stages of the Polish-French relations. The "European integration initiatives" of the Elysee Palace before and after Poland's membership in NATO was explored. Sequence of development of "umbrella of safety" is revealed. The influence of the security factor on the work of the "Weimar Forum" and the influence of the Polish-NATO relations on participation in the WEU activity was proved.
