3.The thesis is deal with biological and ecological peculiarities, introduction and practical use of five species of the genus Rhamnus, which originate from different floristic regions and introduced in the conditions of the Right-bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine.The history of study of the taxonomy and phylogeny of the genus Rhamnus has been considered. The features of the seasonal rhythm of growth and development, reproductive ability and their dependence on weather and climate conditions have been revealed. The duration of organic and forced rest is established. It was shown that species of the genus Rhamnus are characterized by of high degree of winter and drought resistance, and also are optional heliophytes.
