Kovalchuk T. Bioecological Species Peculiarities of Rhus L. Genus in the Right-bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine and Prospects of Use

The thesis is devoted to the elucidation of biological and ecological peculiarities of the Rhus species in the conditions of introduction in the Right Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine. The systematic position of the Anacardiaceae family and the Rhus genus was analysed. Nowadays, plants of the Rhus genus are predominantly distributed in the temperate and subtropical zones. The distribution of plants occurred in the dry land along the temperate zone of the Northern Hemisphere. According to literary sources, 13 species are introduced in Ukraine. The National Dendrology Park "Sofiyivka" of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine has a collection of the following six species: R. aromatica, R. trilobata, R. sylvestris, R. potanini, R. glabra, R. typhina and two forms: R. typhina 'Laciniata', and R. typhina 'Dissecta'.
