Essay

The thesis is devoted to the study of the socio-psychological conditions of the formation of communicative competence in adolescents with Internet-dependent behavior. The thesis presents the main factors of the changed social situation of development of adolescents with Internet-dependent behavior, which contribute to the difficulty in the formation of adolescents' communicative competence. The empirical study found a low level of adolescents' ability to adequately interpret nonverbal behavior; the restriction of their nonverbal expressive repertoire; reduced ability to control encoding of emotional expression. A correctional and developmental program aimed at the development of communicative competence has been developed and tested. Confirmation of the assumption that the organization of the process of the formation of communicative competence contributes to the de-actualization of the negative potential of Internet-dependent behavior in adolescents is obtained.
