Kriukova A. Development and standardization of combined plant drugs for use in rheumatic diseases of the joints.

The dissertation is devoted to standardization of medicinal plant material Sophora japonica flowers, fruits and buds, common bean fruit’s glumes, devil’s claw roots; study of the chemical composition of these kinds of raw materials (definition of flavonoids, amino acids, monosaccharides, fatty acids, macro- and microelements); obtaining and standardizing the dry extract of the devil’s claw roots; the development and standardization of plant products and the study of their anti-inflammatory and analgesic activity. As a result of conducted research on approbation of methods for quality control raw Sophora buds, Sophora flowers and devil’s claw roots were developed monographs SPHU 2.1" Sophora buds", "Sophora flowers" and SPHU 2.0 "Devil's claw root". The project of the SPHU national monograph "Common bean fruit’s glumesN" and "Sophora fruitsN" was developed. The method of identification and quantitative determination of amino acids in raw common bean fruit’s glumes was developed. A dietary supplement of combined composition "Osteovert" containing the dry extract of the devil’s claw roots, glucosamine sulfate and chondroitin sulfate, and the composition of the new herbal collection "Rheumavert", which is protected by the patent of Ukraine on the utility model No. 129448 "Plant collection with analgesic and anti-inflammatory activity" ware developed. Dietary supplement "Osteovert" was introduced into industrial production in the conditions of TOV "Experimental factory" GNTSLS" by order of the TOV "Pharmaceutical firm "Vertex" (Kharkiv).
