Essay

Dissertation is devoted to solving the actual problem of the development of scientific bases of creating a new type of heat transfer surfaces from the tubes banks with equaldeveloped external and internal surfaces, the implementation of which leads to significant savings in material and energy resources. Comprehensive study on the heat transfer and aerodynamic drag of banks of tubes with equaldeveloped external and internal surfaces in wide ranges of geometric and a regime characteristics was carried out. The results of a numerical study and a gas-coil visualization on the basis of which features of the formation of vortex structures and separation streams are disclosed. The generalized similarity equations for the calculation of the intensity of convective heat transfer and aerodynamic resistance with the forced flow of the coolant inside the tubes with equaldeveloped external and internal surfaces and with the external transverse flow of their staggered banks by the coolant are obtained, taking into account both geometric characteristics tubes and the location of tubes in staggered bank and regime parameters. The methods of thermal and aerodynamic calculations of tubes banks with equaldeveloped external and internal surfaces are proposed, on the basis of which the development of a type of regenerators-air type heaters of a new type has been executed.
