Vasylyshyn S. Ukrainian-Byelorussian relations (1991–2014).

The purpose of the work is to point out and analyze the main parameters of a new system of formation and development of Ukrainian-Byelorussian relations in political and economic sphere during the period analyzed. Also the perspectives of bilateral interstate collaboration in the context of contemporary international challenges are found out. The object of the thesis includes international relations and foreign policy of Ukraine and Byelorussia in new geopolitical and geostrategic coordinates. The subject of the work includes the following parts: the main directions and priorities of bilateral relations between Ukraine and Republic of Byelorussia; pointing out the main tendencies and specificity of formation and development of interstate links, their place in the system of international relations in Europe and world. Theoretical and methodological grounds of investigation of a new model of Ukrainian-Byelorussian relations during 1991-2014 are considered. Also the conceptual and categorical set is specified. The author carried out comprehensive, integral and objective investigation of the events of Ukrainian-Byelorussian collaboration in 1991– 2014 using the following scientific principles: historical method, objectivity, scientific character, systemic and integration principles. Complex character of the work is provided by using and linking of common scientific (analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, abstracting, comparison, generalization e. c.), special historical (historical and chronological, comparative and historical, historical and typological) and concrete and historical (systemic and structure, statistic) scientific methods. Despite the complex usage of theoretical and methodological instruments while considering the problem determined, we could authentically, systematically and integrally throw light upon the whole complicated and various system of bilateral relations. In this way we provided the realization of the aim of thesis. The practical meaning of the results received lies in the ability of usage theoretical conclusions and factual material by scientists for the preparing different text-books, other educational and methodical materials, which will promote an increase of educational effectiveness. Also it includes scientific research, educational and propagandist activities on Ukrainian-Byelorussian topic. The scientific statements and generalizations also are useful if they are taken into consideration in foreign policy of governments, ministries and departments of Ukraine and Republic of Byelorussia.
