Essay

The object of the study is the reproduction of introduced species of woody flora - bitter chestnut horse, meat-red, peach and octopus. The purpose was to study the seed potential and peculiarities of reproduction, cultivation, use of gardening material of the most common types of bitter chestnuts in the conditions of the western region of Ukraine. Methods of research - reconnaissance; forestry-taxis, forest-cultural; morphometric; biochemical, tissue culture; mathematical and statistical. Scientific novelty - established the reproductive potential and its dynamics for four types of bitter chestnuts in the conditions of the western region of Ukraine; The seed quality of the seeds, which has a high level of purity (94.4-96.7%), benign (83.0-97%), a significant variation of average weight of 1000 pcs is studied. seed (8.8-20.2 kg); It was determined that the highest level of technical similarity, regardless of the type of substrate, is distinguished by the seeds of the bitter-couscous peat (78,0-87,0%), the least-meat-red (52,0-60,0%); the content of ash, "crude fat", carbohydrates, protein, macro- and microelements, the activity of lipid peroxidation and reduced glutathione, depending on the level of technogenic contamination of the growth sites of plantations, is established in the seeds. Practical use - The presence of a large number of resistant to abiotic and biotic factors of the influence of planting material will make it possible to ensure the need to replenish the range of green plantings with different types of bitter chestnuts. Methodical and practical recommendations for the harvesting of seed raw materials and growing of seedling material of bitter chestnuts, technological maps of growing seedlings under closed and open soil have been developed. An effective technology of mass reproduction of the studied species of bitter chestnuts by seeds is developed, the essence of which is the cultivation of 1-3 year old seedlings under conditions of closed soil, with the subsequent grooming them in conditions of open soil. Field of use: garden-park economy.
