Essay

The thesis is devoted to the study of liver function and the state of the immune system in athletes of high professional skill during the period of competitive loads and during the recovery period. In the study, for the first time, a comparative and correlation analysis of the functions of the liver and immune system was carried out among highly skilled athletes during competitive and recovery periods. On the basis of the completed studies, informative markers for timely early detection of changes in the liver and immune system, methods for correcting the liver and immune system in athletes of higher professional skill, as well as taking into account the identified patterns, an effective method of immunocorrection and immunorehabilitation for athletes of high skill with hepatoprotector ademetionine. The use of ademetionine during the recovery period leads to the normalization of the biochemical indicators of liver function and markers of the athletes’ immune status, which have changed as a result of the maximum competitive loads.
