The history of research and distribution of species of the genus Schivereckia Andrz. is analyzed. Physical and geographical characteristics of localities are compiled. The ecological, morphological and ontogenetic features of S. podoliсa (Besser) Andrz. ex DC. and S. mutabіlis Alekseenko in Ukraine are revealed. The system of the Schivereckia genus is analysed. The state of natural populations of S. podoliсa and S. mutabіlis in Ukraine is investigated. A comprehensive analysis of the age structure of cenopopulations of species of the genus Schivereckia Andrz. is carried out for the first time, as well as their age spectra are constructed. An integral assessment of each cenopopulation is performed on the basis of indices of renewal, population aging and generating, their age type is determined as well. The vitality structure is analysed and a cluster comparison of populations of species of the genus Schivereckia is performed. The sozological status of S. podoliсa and S. mutabіlis in Ukraine is described. The state of protection of investigated species ex situ and in situ in Ukraine is analysed. The recommendations on optimization of species protection in Ukraine are proposed. The peculiarities and perspectives of implementation of the habitat approaches to conservation of S. podolica natural populations are analysed.
