Lomko V. Diagnosis and treatment of back instability of the shoulder joint

This study is based on the diagnosis and treatment of 60 patients aged 16-80 years (48 male and 12 female) with a diagnosis of back instability of the shoulder joint. All patients were divided into two groups depending on the methods of surgical treatment. The result of the study was the following: the study of clinically significant lesions of the articular lobes of the shoulder blade in the posterior sections based on the biomechanical analysis of changes in the stress-strain state of the contact surfaces of the shoulder joint and the justification of the treatment of these injuries. The sensitivity and specificity of clinical tests for the diagnosis of back instability of the shoulder joint have been studied. The algorithms of differential diagnosis and treatment of back instability of the shoulder joint have been developed, which will significantly improve the quality of treatment of such patients. The introduction of a differentiated, integrated approach to the diagnosis and treatment of this pathology will significantly accelerate the diagnosis and choose an adequate treatment method that improves the quality of life of the selected category of patients and reduces the time of recovery.
