Essay

Based on the Langmuir lattice gas model, a number of peculiarities, concerning formation of non-equilibrium waketype structures and shock waves, are shown, along with an array of effects, appearing under gas stream scattering on impurity ensembles and caused by the blockade effect. The effects of wake inversion, sign switching of dissipative interaction between impurities, shock wave enhancement and stopping, enhanced collective scattering on randomly inhomogeneous structures are shown. The properties of non-Newtonian induced dissipative interaction and its asymptotic behavior under collective scattering of interacting particle stream on impurities, within the regime of nonlinear blockade effect in a gas, are described. The possibility of local negative mass-transfer in inhomogeneous media and the presence of induced long-time negative correlations in the two-component lattice gas are shown.
